Bill, thanks for asking. I actually started with an AP Offshore in steel on leather strap which was way too big and flashy for my small wrist. I then added a delicate vintage AP Quantieme Perpetual in platinum on a leather strap as well as a limited edition IWC F.A. Jones Portuguese in rose gold. Wearing shirts with tight cuffs everyday I started preferring smaller watches and went for a PP 5167 which unfortunately felt a little too small and light (almost not present) on my wrist, which is why I let her go and went for the Daytona ceramic instead in 2017. The Daytona easily became my sturdy every day watch. However, overwhelmed by the beauty and quality of the 5167 I was still infected with the PP virus and so I started looking around for the Nautilus and Aquanauts. 3 years down the road I could call myself proud owner of a 5711, 5711R and a 5164R, which for me cover the entire range from sporty to classic. Depressed by the never ending pandemic I had to treat myself this February and so I added an all time favorite from AP (15202) to my collection.
