my first and second watch
My first PP watch was the PP5036 in white gold but white dial as well.
The WG bracelet was a bit hefty but its hard to read the moon phase.
I was stopped one time by one person who admired the watch.
The first time I saw the PP5056, i immediately fell in love with it.
I sold my PP5036 and bought the 5056P immediately. Its been 10 years and I am happy with the switch.
I love the moon phase on the 5056 and understated elegance.
I am now gunning on a PP5575!

Twins but not identical... The dials are lovely. The gold moon on black (sorry, but not quite visible here) and the white moon on slate grey. tempusfugit...

The white gold bracelet is very useable
I have a 5035p and often wish it had a bracelet. May I ask how does the watch wear? Could it be a daily wearer? My concern about the white gold is the plating and if it is durable.
The bracelet (5036G)...
gives the watch a more casual or "sport" presence. Although I do not wear it for active sports I do use it for casual as well as more "dressy" wear. I have not had a problem with wear to the metal and suspect that a visit to the Patek "spa" would suffice ...
Does the 5036 with the removable bracelet
have a different model number or anything so you can distinguish that it has a removable bracelet vs the model that doesn't?
No differentiation by numbers but...
The removable bracelet is known by the screw visible where the bracelet attaches to the case. There are some photos available elsewhere in the forum. tempusfugit

I will do a search. Pity Patek doesn't offer any annual calendars or perpetual calendars in platinum with platinum bracelet.

on the 5056P is spectacular. The two are quite similar, of course. The 5036G bracelet adds a more casual touch and the platinum is pure elegance (but suitable for casual wear as well). Each has a place for me. Good luck on the 5575! tempusfugit
