Patek Philippe Calatrava, 3796S, white gold case with transparent back, and beautiful salmon dial is made gold.
I love this salmon dial and be able to look into the Cal.215 from the case back side.
It was sold in Japan at the end of the 90s, limited to a production of 100 pieces.

And I think because the 3796 has a 30.5mm case, the 215 movement fills up the case back much better compared to say on a 5119 and its 36mm case!
Golden ratio of small seconds
In fact, 96 is perfect for that. Because the diameter of 215 is small, 3796 is a little out of balance. However, 3796 exquisitely tributes 96. See this figure I created for the golden ratio for small seconds. ...
The sub seconds is actually most legible on the 3796 dial as is.
Your design makes it too small to the eye and lost on the dial as is the case on the 5197.

Both 3796 and 5196 are assigned In other words, since the distance from the dial center to the second hand does not change, the layout of the two differs greatly. I hate this kind of Patek's miscellaneous technique.

3796 is legends!
The 3796 was released in 1982 and was produced for about 20 years until 5196, which was released in 2004. However, in 20 years, the only transparent Calatrava is limited to Japan, such as Calatrava.
Absolutely charming
I had almost the same many years ago with platinum case and silver grey dial (and an additional silver dial). I guess I was too young to appreciate how refined and elegant it is and stupidly let it go. Be wiser than me and keep this beauty it looks awesom...
