He told me he spoke with HSWA and this rest assured he will personally take care of the issue, regardless of whether I bought it from his AD or not. He has certainly won be over and I look forward to beginning a relationship with this AD once the issue is resolved. I also received a communique from HSWA that they sent the photos to Geneva for evaluation and Geneva wants HSWA to send the watch watch to them because Geneva wants to not only fix the issue, but understand and study it so as to prevent it from happening in future timepieces. The turnaround time for Geneva is 10 weeks weeks whereas HSWA would have been close to 6 months so this is preferable. I’m also more comfortable with Geneva doing the work than US based watchmakers. This has been a lovely experience and has only served to deepen my love, admiration, and relationship with Patek Philippe.
