Well, I have a slightly different view on that.

I love the 1526 reference and this is to me a very important and now emblematic PC form the brand.

From this reference unveiled in 1941 to the 1591, 2497, 3448, 3450 etc until 1984, the Patek Philippe PC was a standard proportion of a thicker watch.
It is just from 1985 and the 3940 that the PC has been introduced as a very thin watch. It has then created a family and trend on its own but it was an exception and total novelty for Patek at that time.

It has been followed by the 5140 in an updated diameter but same spirit.

Hence, the 5320, in terms of proportions has come back to the original version, what it has always been for Patek from 1941 to 1984. We can say that the 1526's proportions updated to today's standards is the 5320 case's dimensions.

For some of the members who write on the forum, the very thin references are revered and sometimes said to be what a Patek PC is. I agree it is a gorgeous reference and a great interpretation the 240 caliber has made possible thanks to its thinness but I don't think it is more "Patek" than a 5320's proportions.

Best, Mark

Just a quick picture of the 5320G on my wrist...

My fav Patek of the year, at least among the ones I was able to see. The central second hand is an excellent addition because it nicely animates the dial... for those who don't like the PC without it. Fx...

My new favorite {atek

But just not in a white metal. Rose or yellow would be much better. Rose with a black dial is what I would want to see.

Yep, I'm smitten by that one too.

The dial color and Arabic numerals have caught my eye. I'd love to see it in the metal someday. Nice pic. M4

Most beautiful watch from PP this year IMHO

The markers and hands caught my eye too.

I only wish to be able to view this in the metal one day. I know the Vegas boutique sometimes gets special ones in and I'll take a visit out there in the summer.

This one is nice

Different and has a certain casual attraction due to the hands and the numerals.

With the caliber 324 it will be "sensible" to give it a 40 mm case

Still, to my taste and as a Patek maybe big looking? A test in real life will tell. Thank you for the picture of it.

I have tried the 39 mm 5327 J pp calendar recently on and found it already too big ( the AD was shocked after my verdict :-)! )

When I tried the 5140 G on, immediately after the 5327, I instantly got the "Patek feeling". However, people who think a grand complication should have more substance have a point in asking for bigger Pateks. This pp calendar looks very, very nice and wil...

Well, I have a slightly different view on that.

Worth a look compared to my favourite 5327

Just wondering whether that cream dial wouldn\'t be better with RG. The 5146G with cream dial looks a bit odd sometimes but this is oribably to give an aged effect

I like this one

The center seconds is very nice. I want to see the dial in the flesh. Some commentators in their blogs have said it can be overly shiny in some lights.

Thank you for the picture Fx )

Can't wait to see this in the flesh.
