Hi,
I am with a good frined of mine who has just brought over his Grandfather's Patek.
He visited Patek's offices (Henri Stern Agency) in NY this afternoon and acquired this information:
Ref: 2406
1947-1950
Movement: 962-376
Caseback: 651-889
I must say that this watch is simply gorgeous. The hands, dial, case and crystal are in PERFECT condition - I am not a current collector of Patek watches, but must say this this is a VERY interesting watch. The dial has sticks at 1,2,5,6,7,8,10,11 - dots at 3 & 9 - and a tiny 12 (the "1" and "2" are individual gold pieces). The crown is flat and big, and the watch winds like butter.
Is this an early Calatrava? Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
asg
