I sold all my Rolex besides 1 so I could wear Patek Philippe more often......

I love my Patek Philippe watches..... however I am a very humble man.

I come from less wealthy means.

I found myself wearing Rolex most often as I did not want to disturb my Patek pieces.

I feared I was not worthy of such pieces.

My family never owned a fleet of oil tankers or a huge brewery.  My family were ethnics with a think Eastern European accent.

I then sold all my Rolex, expect my Rolex Explorer II 16570 White Dial, so I could enjoy my Patek Philippe.

I am of the opinion that unless one has procured luxury products through dishonest means, then they should be enjoyed. For most people that I know who own expensive watches, they represent important milestones in their lives and one's successes should be ...

The author of the original post made an apologetic reference to his “ethnic” Eastern European origins...The post to which I replied accused the original author of “e-begging.” I assumed, perhaps erroneously, that our Patek owner was of the Roma caste and ...

What? The original post is from the YouTube celebrity Paul Pluta/AC3.

As far as I can tell from watching his videos for a couple of years he clearly recognizes he is an unapologetic e-Beggar. I mean... that is his entire schtick. My post was meant as a compliment. Watch his videos and you will be equally impressed that a ma...

I hope that continues to be the case, yet I can’t help thinking what if Patek timepieces fall ill one day 🤷🏻‍♂️

Please enjoy your watches.

I think there's no need for any shame, it how we act and where we are going that matters, no where we are from. As for your humble beginnings, please let that inspire you to help people who are in a humble place now. To do so is the greatest honor, good d...

where the government-sanctioned kleptocratic privileged elites can inspire others less fortunate by showing off their gaudy, over-priced, bejeweled timepieces.

Don't go for oil tankers at least.

In average one costs around 50 million and it's a lot of debt to have. Furthermore, the market is so lousy that each generates at least 10k losses 24/7. But the market is changing. Fast I believe. Beer is a better option. Most of us consume it a lot. Seri...

Your Rolex draws more unwanted attention than your Patek’s.

Wear and enjoy them, if you’ve built the means to acquire them, then you deserve to wear them everyday.
