Forget quality for the moment and considering cosmetics alone, there are other watches of similar style which are more appealing to me. I do like the dial, not crazy about the large pushers at all, even though I understand their purpose and necessity.
For me, the watch is too large, the buckle is a little Spartan is its appearance, not as refined as the pointed Stern buckle, but clearly designed as utilitarian or "tool" appearing which will appeal to those who like that look.
Of course, if money was no object, I'm sure I'd have one, but unfortunately that's not the case and forced to be selective. That's where the problem rests with me and I'm sure with others as well with respect to stroking a check for this reference.
It is not a watch I would consider a "must have" but I can certainly see that for those collectors of the brand, it would be.
The interesting point this watch has made is what might be forthcoming in the future with more models "outside of the box" so to speak.
