Best looking Nautilus, to me
Very nice size, material mix and dial. Saw it once on a gentleman's wrist on the street ( an elderly person, probably a lawyer, cariying documents) and I must say it looked very, very good on him.
3800 is beautiful
Im looking for a 3800/1a with a blue dial but it is so hard to find a mint one or a NOS... 3800s in just average condition look quite cheap IMHO. The bezel with its sharp angles is so important in what makes this reference incredible that it has to be min...
Nautilus
I have seen plenty a Nautilus in metal and don't like any of them (but lots of people do). I have seen this in photos and this is the only one, at least at this point, that I like. It exudes understatement.

Thank you and I must confess that nautiluses is not the PPs I wear the most, but they are beautiful in many ways. I wear rarely my 5711/1a or 5712. But My last pick... the 5711/1r .... which I think is a piece of art, is often on my wrist.

37mm case size, depends on the size of each wrist, but it is beautiful! And a question: Why in older Nautilus like the 3800 some date discs are black, while in current Nautilus are only white? I happen to like the black date disc on this one...

But honestly the black disc is very legible so... maybe just a question of contrast and balance on the dial ?
