I am biased but if I did a “blind testing” it be the non chrome. Only because I think the color palette

Is a bit flatter and there seems to be more bleeding. However there seems to be a texture in the “chrome” version which I would like to see in the metal

I prefer the non-chrome version. The chrome takes away the allure of the cloisonné center because it’s shines too much under some lighting conditions

Are you sure this isn’t simply lighting causing the difference you are calling the chrome effect? Strong light at a slight angle can cause all sorts of effects. For sure there are multiple colourways as I have often seen with the 5131R’s. ...

Great Post GLau! I love the comparison! Just goes to show that these are handmade individual pieces and they are not all "identical" commodities.
