Hi Henry.
For me it is an easy one 5970 all day long. I've always bought watches by letting my eyes and heart do the decision making. I love the 5970 from the second I saw it. However this is not to say the 5131 is not a beautiful watch. The dial is exquisite and I fully understand and appreciate the work that goes into them but for me the 5970 wins all day long. Both will be good long term investments. Let your eyes and heart do the work. It's always worked for me.

Yes, retail price from AD of 5131R is 60000 SFr. But I am referring to 5131J and 5131G, which can no longer be bought form AD now.
The market price (2nd hand price) of 5131J and 5131G is now similar to price of 5970 G/J/R. Thanks.
