This is why I have not bought a new Patek in years. It is a new world out there. I remember they made a couple off beat watches years ago and they would say it was for the overseas market, etc. Now it seems the whole lineup has gone that way. They take the much loved annual calendar, then put it in places it should not be. Larger watches are in, we will just take our small calibers and put it in there. I see through the whole thing and don't like it one bit. But there is a market for this stuff, just not with me.

Hopefully,like Manchester United, this period of bad form will pass. I just don't want to be sitting around thinking about the good old days when United won the treble and tons of trophies and Patek made beautiful watches.

No question arises... 'how do I read this weird chronograph?' You look at it and instantly recognize the design. It truly makes you wonder why anything, other than technology, has been changed. yes that might be 'boring' ... But look at Rolex--essentially...
Same feeling here... that is timeless elegance, and that, for me, is Patek.
