It would have been more high end. This type of bracelet construction is less expensive & complexe to produce, it’s the same link. They were probably trying to save some cost on finishing. Maybe a croco matte black or green instead?

I went to my AD with the intention to buy it but I really couldn’t get over the bracelet. My main issue is that the bracelet is straight and doesn’t narrow towards the clasp; looks odd. ...

change it to s strap! Easy fix, right ? Is the green the same as the 5711 green ?
Nope, same issue as with e.g. 5131/1P.
Huge gap between case and strap. Similar but couldn’t confirm that it’s identical.

Yes, but it’s the same bracelet as used on 5167/1A anyway.
A strap won’t work properly. See my comment on Gordon’s (GLau) post.

I find the watch itself, and the dial, very alluring. But I agree with you, the bracelet is not on the level of sophistication a 5905 demands. Cheers, Daniel

I don't care for this bracelet. I do have the 5960/1A and never changed that bracelet for a strap. I actually like that bracelet a lot.
I'm not a fan of any of the new green dialed releases at all...
The WorldTime chrono is unattractive in my eyes. This one is unattractive as well. I'll stick with the other offerings.
I like this piece, however it would have been more stylish to have the bracelet taper from watch to wrist.
I would be keen to see this on a strap.

Good to see that you only purchase the watches that gives you the right feeling. I haven’t been able to see the watch live yet. But I follow the same rule myself never purchase watches before I have tried on my wrist and it feels perfect 👍
I’ve only seen this watch live once.
But didn’t try it on. I liked the dial very much. But not sure about the bracelet.
