Hi altogether, sorry for bothering you, but really got stuck in my decision process... Giving away a 5980 black + RLX DD platinum, both new from 2012 to get a new-like 5960p from 2006 + some k back? Shall I stay or should I move?? What would you do and wh... 

... that you are trading 2 metal strap watches, for 1 with a leather strap. I wouldn't trade both. Especially that you are trading 2 watches that you can wear all year long, swim with, do all kind of activities as you mentionned, etc.... But if its a drea...

you wouldn't ask for help. Because you are not sure, the risk is big that you would regret after the trade. Keep the old watches and change those when you are 100% sure. I know how it feels when you want to get something new but sometimes it's better to h...

One will do the chrono duty, and the other one will almost do the annual calendar duty. One is already a Patek and one is a Rolex. Both are to be admired watches and you are lucky to have owned both. I say keep the two watches. Good luck on your decision

There are occasions where a dressier watch is called for and if you have a void in that category then the 5960p may just fit the bill. If you prefer the sportier bracelet watch, do you think you might tire of the 5960? I have found if you have to think ab...

I would trade the 2 for the 5960P. The Rolex DD is not in the same class as 99% of Pateks. The 5980 is a good watch but the 5960P is a very classy looking watch with Patek's first in-house chronograph movement. You can dress it up or down. The Annual Cale... 

So would jump at the chance. My only concern, is how much extra cash would this cost you? Selling two pieces from 2012 and still having to pay cash. Means that you are having to take quite a hit on their prices. That said, I tend to let my heart rule my h...
