At the time I purchased it I thought it was a stretch for a stainless steel watch. Having rotated through a Royal Oak to this (the AP being materially cheaper but no less of a watch in my opinion) I justified it somewhat as it did fit a niche spot within a collection; sporty but elegant and for me more versatile than the RO because of the size / slimness.
I’m not sure I would make the decision today however.

Frankly, I do not believe this is a 30K watch. I am pleased it will be receiving the new movement with the stop seconds function. Resale value aside, I think the VC overseas, AP Royal Oak and the Urban Jurgensen One are much more interesting and far more ...

How do you find the rigidity and overall solidness of the vacheron bracelet/case joint? I very much like the watch, but am hesitant to acquire given the long term wear of the connection and lack of aftermarket straps...
