Cool one I had a 5065 and the grenade dial makes up for that 3 issue you mentioned!
I’m looking for a 5060 now. I like the solid back and being the first one also says nautilus on the clasp kind of cool.
Patek at least in US still sells all colors of rubber straps for these two as opposed to the newer ones I think they’re more restrictive.

Some thoughts on the vintage Patek Aquanaut.
I always had a soft spot for the Aquanaut, more than for the Nautilus, by the way. The 5060 and the 5066, and the 5065. I don't care about the see through case back, so for me, it would be between the 5060 and the 5065. So the question is why I didn't get...
It has some quirks, like the minute marks which are a little all over the place
I owned a 5065 in 2003-2005 and it is a big regret having sold it (also financially...) The only thing I was not a big fan of was the big boxy clasp. The rest was perfect. If you find a good one, jump on it. Gold is even more leftfield - to be experienced...

I also always see the out of place 3, pushed there by the date. A no date version would have looked perfect and had that been the case I would already have one. I do still look and question if I could live with that unbalance and so far no!
Get a 4960
At least it solves the 3 problem but introduces another bomb under the hood
