Here’s the latest:

However this is the first time the model name is listed as “Bull’s Eye”, which is actually incorrect…for the 5980, the model name is listed as Nautilus.

It appears the rim on the loupe is not metallic so it’s ok, no scuff marks on the case.

Yes both 5960 and 5980 share the same counter.
That said I checked both watches were launched the same year so I guess the term can apply to both as you mentioned. I just never heard the the nickname for the 5960. The 5980 counter color layout has a big blue dot in the center surrounded by a white cir...

It will open the door for the future for you. The good thing is these 5960Ps are still under appreciated…so you might still have time for the P or G version, but not the A version.

What about, ‘Mr Under-appreciated’ (MUA).
Ever since it’s release back in 2006 (?) I had wanted this but never got round to it. I was patient, bided my time, eventually just pulled the trigger. My main worry was it going up in value, but luckily for me it just did not. Just great value.

I think at some point, people are going to realize this over the famous time only cousins.

As I believe that anyone that values one of those time only watches more than a serious complication will never see the light. 💡 M.
