Patek Philippe

Be prepared for a thump.

You really didn't describe the problem, if its cosmetic ( scratches or slight dent ) Patek can refinish it for a reasonable cost, if it is a screw back which has been cross-threaded, then it is a major deal. The money involved will depend on whether it is case damage related which would be more expensive than if you are replacing an engraved caseback with a new one, in either instance be prepared to spend a chunk of money.

I had a client who experienced this and it ended up requiring a new case. It happened during a service so PP ponied up for the expense. I don't know if the watch ended up with a new case number, but that is something to consider with respect to the COO.

Obviously, I would suspect the watch will have to go back to Geneva for this work.
