As mentioned by cpbmd, it’s due to the loosening or even disappeared tiny locking screw of the deployant clasp. I have experienced it before. Should be able to fix it immediately at Patek service center (that’s my case in ~ 2018)

By: benzng : May 3rd, 2021-01:07
It seems something wrong with my deployant clasp. The bar sticking out. Can i fix this? Or do i need to bring to AD? Thanks for the suggestion ...

It's most likely a totally trivial issue, but if your manual abilities are as amazing as mine....then don't touch it any further and just hand it to your AD tomorrow! ;-))

The important thing is, of course, *not* to strap the watch on your wrist until the clasp is fully functional again ;-) Cheers.

There is a Tiny screw that is used to keep the bar in place.

The screw must have fallen out. It is about the size of a grain of rice.

Same issue here recently. My AD ordered the screw from Patek and changed it last weekend. :-)
