I think the 5970 is better proportioned, I mean size thickness ratio, than the 5960. I also think that the wrist presence will depend on the dials.

The 5960A has a big presence on the wrist. so is the 5970P.

If my collection, I think of the 5960p as having the most “metal” wrist presence - maybe the most wrist presence period. It’s just a pronounced watch given the thickness. By contrast, while my 5146g could sound similar on paper if I showed close up pictur...

Since the 5960 is between 13-14mm thick, I'm assuming that reference, though sexy as hell, leaves an uncomfortable bump under the shirt cuff. Like an anaconda trying to swallow a deer. Thoughts?

The case is smoooooth, so it goes down a little easier than you might expect. But it is a thick watch and there's no hiding that.
