Recently, I got an opportunity and traded my 5712/1A for the 5726/1A-014. As the 5712 was my thinnest watch, I do miss that very aspect of it. I also loved the asymmetric dial and PR indicator on the dial. For those that know me, they know I love PR indic...

This is a trade I've thought about more than once, but I love my 5712 too much. Two very different watches (relatively). I see the 5726 better positioned as an all-rounder. Enjoy it in the best health!

I used to own the early strap version, which I loved and miss, but it never sat well on my wrist. And not as versatile as the bracelet version in my opinion.

It really contributes to the overall look of the watch, and its comfort on the wrist, which is second to none. I wear long sleeve shirts on a daily basis, and tall cases are a real pain.

It wouldn't make sense (to me) in my collection

5712 for e.g. Datograph or Zeitwerk with plenty to spare. Alas, such is life...

The Chrono prices say you can but the dealers like to make margin on both sides of the deal. I love my 403 Dato, but I too am thinking of the ZW

What would you say about the weight of the watch ? I know it is significantly bigger than 5711/5712 in size but how about the weight?

It really is about the bracelet or strap fitment. It is definitely feels more substantial than the 5712 on the wrist. Whether that is a negative or a positive is user based. I immediately felt the difference when I put it on. I think I am also wearing the...
