Not sure it is so unloved
May 10, 2022,18:27 PM
Perhaps upon release it was… but many seem to have been slow to appreciate the amazingness it brings. In steel, how many complicated PP have been made that are not a sports series… and on a bracelet for that matter!
You mention the black dial but aside from the short production time and the rarity factor personally I like the clean white dial better.
Forgive me if already included, but if it is the case this piece has not been included in the purist 5960 roll call please do let me know as we are ambitiously aiming for the sky!

Even if t is not a black dial... But steel, annual calendar, flyback... and magic dial... My 5960/1A-001 is back on my wrist with an Atelier Romane bracelet and a steel PP buckle for consistency. Best Ø ...

Yes I’ll send pic of mine. Red stitching makes it.
Some dislike it…

A Breitling bracelet… a steel case… But a charming one… a simple case, an original bezel, a changing dial.. And one of the favorite watches of Thierry Stern who fought with the PP board to launch it.
Totally agree…

I also like the bracelet.

For me the bracelet is a part of the watch dna. On leather, on steel... the 5960 is a chameleon ! Should try a Nato even if I guess it is too sporty ;-) Amitiés O
I always try.

I don’t think it is unloved. Certainly not on WPS

To be honest I wasn’t sure about the styling of the hands and choice of font. It was clearly a departure from classic Patek that so many of us love. Nothing wrong with that but it tends to confuse and stir emotions. I personally needed to see it a few tim...
