Yes, it’s really Golden...

Golden Ellipse 5738R, released in 2018 to celebrate the 50th anniversary. While the Pt mode with Blue dial is also stunning, I think the RG with Black dial looks great. Thanks for the feedback from previous post query so here it is. While the hot focus is...

Haha....you’re funny, my friend....

You must be speechless I’m so clueless to buy such a Patek?! 😅

Owning any Patek Philippe watches is special and a winner so all is good, regardless of models...

Too bad the hype is taking over passion but I can’t change the fact, so I stand firm. Trend comes and goes 👌🏻

I’m glad you did it, Raymond. Huge congratulations.

It’s a beautiful piece, and the fact that it’s double-signed, makes it even better. Best, V.

Thanks for your input too...yes overnight shipping helps 😅

Although not limited, I think eventually there will even less than a hundred for this, wink wink 😉

I think so too Ed, as this family lifespan is already older than myself, haha...

The Golden Ratio has been around for hundreds of years so this inspired design will work for next generations too. Thank you i

Haha....you’re teasing me....I wished because I always wanted a 240 but...

For this model, it’s a solid case back!

Sorry I can’t but I’ll wait for yours :)

 By: Clueless_Collector : August 1st, 2020-17:47
It’s not a normal case back but 2 similar thickness case and I don’t think you can do it without any damages to the case. ...

Actually, you need not to only open the case,

but also remove the stem to see the movement. If you just pop the caseback the only thing that happens is that the front part of the case comes off as the dial and movement is attached to the caseback by the stem.

Wow, that’s good to know but I’m not opening any case back...

I’m not handy and will find someone to do even strap changes because I scratched lugs couple times.

Here’s a Cal 240 on my wife’s 7200/50G...

What a watch!

Congrats. And the Tiffany dial even more interesting than the one you posted the other day! Well done 👏🏻

Thanks for the comments...

I like how the length of the words from wider at the top (Brand name) and narrowing down to the T stamp and than the Swiss.

Good point

It’s a very pleasing way to display the text on a watch that is all about ratios in its design.

Beautiful piece!

I'd really like to try one of these on my wrist!

Congratulations 🍾🎉 in getting this classics watch !

The color combination is classy ! You are definitely NOT “clueless” in going after this golden ellipse with a Tiffany stamp !

Thanks a lot Gordon...

This model looks so timeless and color is indeed very “rich” with the glossy dial but not all T stamps are created equal 😂, many models, including this, will still go under unlike the SS ones. Regardless, I’m going for what I like and building a diverse c...

as I like to see some motions to know watch is moving but I agree it’s very classic and pure. By the way, your 5740/1G is my grail status watch, sublime and superb, hopefully one day...

I also used to prefer watches with second hands, as my profession needs to count second from time to time.

When proceeding with the journey of horology, I started to appreciate the simplistic beauty of two hands watches, especially those hand-winding ones. Thanks for your kind words to my new acquisition. Being a Patek connoisseur like yourself, I am certain y...

Thanks Justin, are you saying I’m getting old, lol...
