A few pics from a special Patek event in Frassinello Monferrato, Northern Italy...

May 26, 2019,06:04 AM

Let me share with you a few pictures of a wonderful Patek event last Friday, at the breathtaking "Castello di Frassinello," a 1000+ year-old castle in the wine region of Monferrato smile

Great food (and of course wine, and champagne, and cocktails), and great watches old and new -- all accompanied with a beautiful show at the beginning and end of the night for the 100+ attendees.

My special thanks goes to Anna C. and her family, one of my favorite ADs, for organizing another truly successful event in every detail. And an even bigger thank-you this year for assigning me the spot to the right of the Patek Italia president at the main dinner table ;-)

Here's my friends a small selection of pictures that my girlfriend and I took on Friday... Hope you'll enjoy, and have a great Sunday! smile

Which pieces did you fancy ?? Did you see 5231J ??

Thanks my friend, as I was telling you on the way there I was hoping to see the 5231 quite badly, but alas they just couldn't bring it there... I'm afraid it's too limited an edition to have one to circulate at the events this summer ;-)

The 5212 was perhaps my biggest surprise of the 2019 models -- the 40mm size is perfect, the dial in the end is not too crowded, and the weekly calendar is a simple but also very modern complication... Cheers.

thanks for sharing Fab...in deed it should have been a great time !

Looks amazing! Any surprises in this new lineup that you experienced? Aside from the 5212 that is... did you attend the event with your special Boccadasse๏ผŸ

Thanks Keks, of the other 2019 pieces we saw the new regulator in rose and the 5172G were probably the most successful... I would have loved to see 5520, but like for the 5231, of course it couldn't be brought along.

In the end I decided to wear the 5167, since my girlfriend and I also took a look at the area before the party...but the 5177 remains a top candidate for another event later this summer, as I already promised it to a few people there.. Here's a picture wh...

5167 is a piece that works in any occasion...

A swap for a 5370 would have been something... Myself starting packing for a trip this week to your neighborhood. A bit further north to the lakes but trying to decide what to pack on the wrist... not easy choice as a few days of activities...

will not happen this trip...

The 5212 was matching your outfit perfectly ๐Ÿ˜‰ Serious watch the 5370, I would love to see one in the flesh one day just for fun, it is way out of my budget.

Thank you, Fab, for this report!

Iโ€™m glad to read your impressions regarding the 5212. This and the 5231j are on my list. Iโ€™m hoping fate is kind to me. Thanks again. It looks like it was a wonderful evening! Did you place any orders from the novelties?

Thanks a lot, and my best wishes in seizing one of your two favorites -- I can say after Friday that at least the 5212 is gorgeous, and I'm pretty sure that both are :-)

I had already expressed, and just reiterated on Friday, an interest in one of the rare handcrafts also for this year (my favorite is the 5086G "African elephant")...but I see it tough, for Italy is likely to have zero allocations. We'll see, otherwise (ex...

Thank you, Fab.

Best of luck in your pursuit of the African Elephant! And if you had to settle for a 5231, itโ€™s not too bad

Harris ;-) :-)
