Then came 7234G when it was described as suitable for both men and women “Patek Philippe has launched the self-winding white-gold Calatrava Pilot Travel Time in the new medium format (37.5 mm) that assures a subtle presence on the wrist.”
I still feel brand’s should have more watches for couples to share. I’m wearing this 7234R, it’s a nice size.

I swap out the original calf leather with a brown croc and it transforms the look.
I think you should try it, makes a huge difference imho.
I also think that # 7234 is a wonderful watch that is big enough for men.

For a SS Patek Philippe special limited edition, it is way under appreciated (compared to the crazy appreciation of the 5167A Singapore edition) because of the designated description but I think it’s an advantage for interested collectors.

When I was asked by a trusted acquaintance to explain the charm and rarity of this (#7234A) watch, I happened to find a new one sold at a Japanese store and was able to get it at the last minute.
These were all sold out or fully allocated so for people without AD relationship in SE Asian region...it's impossible to get.

Due to the large crowns,this model anyhow wears a bit bigger than it's size would suggest.
37.5mm is perfect and you're correct...

I am a fan of 37~40mm watches, works for both my boss and me...
easier to justify the purchase because we can both share the joy.

Hello I read that the rose gold is different (4n) for the 7234 vs 5524r where the white gold is same between the two. Perhaps why they marketed them differently. I’m with you I think I prefer the 7234 size!
Yes there are many ladies RG which is 4N vs 5N for men’s
And I still don’t have the answer why.
