I prefer the look, and the value of the Patek. Value meaning 5 years from now.... you will have a very sought after piece, but with the Dato.... it will be only so-so, based on the past up til now anyway. If that matters to you....
Am I saying the Dato is anything less than flawless and amazing in every way? No. It is all that.
But I like the Patek much more.

I'll take the 5070R
the 5070's dial and case are just perfect the dato is imo too small compared to the thickness but it is a great watch
