Just curious. Is there a diamond embedded in the case at 6 o’clock?

No...

Instead there’s an adjuster button for the moonphase indicator where the diamond would otherwise be on a platinum model.

Beautiful iconic piece

I actually start to prefer the white dial to the grey ones... shame I own a grey dial haha Cheers, Kev

Do you have a photo of your gray one you can share?

Would be curious to see it. My opaline dial isn't actually white; it's more of a light cream color, though it changes subtly with the ambient light.

Here it is...

...

That’s a sweet gray!

Thanks for sharing; I knew the 5146 included gray dial variants, but I’d never seen one with Roman numerals.

fascinating

Looks like you're right. The watch is an interesting hybrid of 5035 and 5046 design elements, and appears closer to the latter than the former because of the power-reserve indicator and moonphase.

it's the 5056P

platinum indeed - it has everything i was looking for: Size 37 (i have a tiny wrist...) platinum roman numeral with amazing lume perpetual cal power reserve the only thing I regret is the dial a little bit, I would have loved it in blue or white but i hav...

Heart Stopper!

Hi - in this case ...

it's a Canon 7D with 100 f/2.8L macro lens.

Sublime shots

The last macro one gets my vote too even if all are actually superb. 100mm macro f/2 is also my favourite lens (Zeiss) when I shoot watches (even if I shhot with a D4S and not a 7D). And playing with your camera with a PP 3940 is certainly a very pleasant...

thanks for the kind words ...

I didn't buy my camera equipment with watches in mind; the Canon 7D is plainly better suited for sports photography than for watch macros. If I were even more serious about photography than I am, I would go with something else for the watch shots ... and ...
