Yes the watch is quite old,
But Patek had made this watch (30.5mm, same movement, case, enameled lettering, etc.) Before the 96. So the 96 is actually not the first calatrava per se. It is not even the first time Patek decides to put a reference number to a watch.
Indeed I was happier with the watch after I bought it, than before (I bought it.)

Yes I felt very satisfied with the 96 on the wrist.
You can feel vanity without the guilt. Very attractive proposition.
