Will have to try it on now

I did not try it yet as 42mm sounds big for me. But you are of course right - the numbers often don't tell the real story on how something really wears and feels.

Picked up my new 5905P today! It is refreshing to wear a 42mm Patek and it fits my wrist perfectly! I was undecided between the 5905P and 5960P and ultimately decided on the 5905 since I think it fits my 7” wrist well and I love the modern size. I just lo...

Congrats - great watch. And the black you have would be my choice too. It's a common debate 5960 vs 5905 - similar in many ways yet distinctly different. Personally I much prefer the cleaner dial layout of the 5905 while the 5960 size fits my smaller wris...

You made the right choice. The black dial and white metal exude class. Well done. Wear it in good health!

Million congrats

And pleased you should be with such a master piece. I like the dark dial. Gives something contemporary to it. Wear it in good health and pride for many years to come until it’s time to pass it on to the next generation

Congratulations!

I purchased a deployant for mine, mostly for the counter-weight. I opted for the WG version. Friendly reminder, while you can use the original strap that you have with the deployant, for it to fit correctly you will need a 125 x 65mm strap. The 5905's str...

Well done 👍👍

A daily wearer packed with practical functions at great value relatively speaking. Did you also consider the blue dial? Thomas

A third option:

The brown dial! Without the plastic, a very warm and inviting alternative. Thomas ...

My 7.25" Wrist is slightly larger...

 By: mdg : December 11th, 2019-10:40
...so I'm confident that I could pull this one off. My concern is the thickness. For a 'dressy' watch, it is a fattie. I wish PP could have found a way to use the 240 movement instead...

Casual pic, works well with short sleeves...
