A fine reminder what this website is about and should be. Getting goose bumps just looking at it, lol.

I agree with Ivan .

Beautiful...

...and the size looks great. The best part to me is the date numbers...they do not 'flip over' as most numbers do. I find this a much better solution...more harmonious with the entire dial. Enjoy!

Well balanced and very clean dial for a PC !

The design of two concentric sub-dials for date and seconds is an interesting. Does this configuration appear on many other Pateks ?

I am a big fan of 1526 and yours seems to be in excellent condition!

What a pity you are so far away I would have been delighted to see it in the metal and organize a decent photo shooting session for this awesome piece... But if you ever come to Paris, promise me to bring it pleeease! In the meantime enjoy it and wear it ...

Beautiful and Important watch!

Thanks for posting this! I love the 1526. I had a nice example and sold it six years ago. Like EVERY watch I have ever sold I truly regret parting with my 1526. Wear yours in Health and Joy!

Breathtakingly beautiful

Not to say Patek should copy the old...

but the DNA here is oozing character... it makes one quiet with earthly awe... As fine and beautiful as so many modern watches are... one shakes one's head... why can they not make them like they used to???

Thank you for all the compliments.

I rarely use this # 1526. However, I'm glad I bought it purely for ornamental purposes. It ’s more personal than the same size Calatrava.
