Buy what you like and dont follow the hype . So many nice watches arround for a good price imho .

The world is changing , and the demand for all around items rules . Same phenomenon happened to pocket watches , when wristwatches were introduced. The dress watch is dying, except for us collectors... I hope I’m wrong but I feel that the dress watch tren... 

Come to think of it, I never wanted to a dress shirt or dress shoes so the gravitation to sports watches as a whole makes sense to me

The perception of luxury has changed. The Instagram generation does not need a wristwatch, and when they do, they want what we call a sports watch. Preferably in steel or maybe titanium or ceramics/carbon. Talking to a grey market/used watch dealer the ot... 

Sports watches have always been more popular, no more so than today. But it’s sad to hear that demand for dress watches is so low! Although one can argue that auction results tell a different story.

I’m just conveying what I was told. For us that have a more broad interest in horology, the current trend is good news. A lot of high end timepieces can be had for very reasonable prices since the competition is zooming in on the gourmet steel sports piec...

We all want to be recognized and wanted..owning product makes it easier.

buy the 3970P because of its complications, discontinued Leminia movement and platinum metal. Overall time, I think 3970P will outperform relatively.
