Very nice!

I’ve not seen 5740 in real but from pics on internet, that blue is much nicer than 5711/5712.

Thanks, Gordon. No one around was interested to my 5740. I guess there was not much WIS there.

I always find PP to be of much lower profile than Rolex.

Thanks for your concern, Reuven, I think my daughters pose a much higher risk to my watch, as they have added scratches to nearly all my time pieces...... [nt]

Thanks, Nico. With the better control of pandemics in recent few weeks, couldn't resist the desire to walk around. [nt]

Thanks, ezinhk. I think the blue dial of 5740 resembles that of 5711P, which is a kind of lighter and metallic blue. But it lacks the gradient style with dark periphery of 5711/5712.
By: joenghenry : September 6th, 2020-06:43
Couldn't say which one is nicer. Best to have ....... both.

I have both but really prefer the 5740 dial , it always plays with the light and offer a new hue

Thanks, Centurion. Apart from the dial, I also like 5740's slim profile, as it is the thinnest Patek perpetual calendar at the moment. [nt]

Walking is good excersise. You walk 2 kms you could burn between 300 500 calories.
By: geross : September 6th, 2020-13:38
Thats 3 5 beers. So in the afternoon you can drink 1 2 bottles. And your still ahead. Lovely Nautilus. Fits your wrist nicely. 😊 Cheers. 🍻, my friend. Geross.

Thanks, Geross. I think eating less is more important to control our weight. Exercise however indeed can keep our muscle. Cheers. Henry [nt]
