what you said are my sentiments exactly. Seeing this watch in real life for the first time was really qutie a surprise for the reasons you mentioned. Everything is coming together to form this fine elegant sports watch. It's all in the details my friend and thank you for your kind words!!

When the 3712 first came out my initial thought was: so Patek is putting the 5054 in a Nautilus case, and that was pretty much the end of the story for me at that point. With that in mind I didn't pay much attention to the 5712 which replaced 3712 by the ...

... and nice pics. Indeed a gr8 watch, u cannot go wrong with it. I also loved nicola's post about it. Pics were really good and highlighted some details i haven't noticed too. Such as the way the dial catches the light, the proportions, etc... Wear it in...

I agree with you that the dial is indeed one of the real highlights of this watch. It is always changing depending on the light condition, and Nicolas' photos do a fine job demonstrating that. Cheers, Roger

Congratulations. Indeed a great watch! I could really not imagine how nice this sports watch is until I saw it in real. The dial, hands, movement, case and bracelet, all are so nicely and elegantly made. Patek really stands out in the world of haute horlo...

you're absolutely correct....the dial is what's really appealing about the 5712. It's always changing, and you can observe all the details when you have it on your wrist. Hope you're enjoying yours as well!! Cheers, Roger
