The frustrating thing is that I have purchase history for other sought after pieces (different brand) with this AD and they know I'm not a flipper as I regularly wear those watches when I've been back in the AD. Having seen these responses I contacted a different AD and they confirmed they do not have such a rule, but the implication was clear that if you want a PP sports, purchasing jewellery is very helpful, so not sure that is any better! I appreciate AD's and brands are in difficult positions when demand far outstrips supply but I think there is a risk of alienating potentially good future clients. The good news is that I find the chase as fun as the catch so will go along for the ride and see what happens.

Totally agree with that Colonel, it is meant to be worn in all situations although I know mine won’t be ending up in situations that can compete with what the Colonels Aquanaut might have gone through 😬

I used to have the stainless steel Aquanaut years ago but somehow it did not have the wow factor this one has for me. With this rose gold I keep staring at it and it combines beautifully with the brown dial and strap.

Same here Nico! Many years ago I used to own
A Nautilus with the blue dial and I liked the look of it, but I always felt it was very fragile. Especially the bracelet. The Aquanaut is more rugged and can be worn in all circumstances. That’s why I prefer the Aquanaut!

Jewellers in the Netherlands have started buying watches from their customers which they then sell as pre owned. This allows customers to trade in or up if they want to. Customer happy, jeweller happy!

Do you mind if I ask if you had ever purchased any other PP through this jeweller? The reason I ask is that here in the UK my AD says in order to buy PP sports you need to buy 2 other non PP sports first, with the implication being that it is a PP policy....
