Patek Philippe

You know me, I am a white metal guy. So personally, I would hesitate between a white gold or a platinum version. BUT, sometimes, the case / dial combination is really eye catching. This is the case, I think, with the 5070J. The black dial yellow gold case...

While my favorite of the series is probably your G, either way this is a pretty iconic reference that any collector should be happy to have regardless of color! ;-) Cheers.

Each metal has a different feel. The J definitely has a vintage touch to it, and the combination of yellow gold with black dial provides a powerful 💪 look 👀 to me !

this black J can only be beaten with Black R or salmon P. I suppose thats why they make 5170R 😊

I am a rose gold lover but this J really does it. It’s top-flight in the 5070. Beautiful photos.

someday I will also get the G ( not the P. somehow it fells constricted like the J and R) It is just this J combination of colour and dial giving amazing more aristocratic look

Loves the old school charm of this 5070J.

I generally do like yellow gold, and I do like it here with the gold case and black dial. But there is something off for me with all the gold printing on the dial. Maybe it’s a bit too difficult to read here. Or maybe it’s just my old eyes! Either way, I ... 

At this point, I’m happy to get ANY 5070! 😀

I prefer white metal - like you - and if it must be colored I prefer red gold to yellow. But in this case.....

I have always loved yellow gold and glad that it is getting more appreciation these days.

what's not to like on this really vintage looking 5070 J ? I sold my first "J" a few years ago but somehow regretted it and bought one back a while ago, mostly worn in winter times .... ...
