I posted another thread yesterday, asking WPS members which Calatrava 6119 they preferred, either the WG or RG. A big thanks to all who replied. I had made up my mind before I asked, but was surprised that the replies were almost unanimous in favor of the...  

Very nice indeed. And you will see that may be a different strap will look even better with the watch as the one by default shinny black makes it a bit too "old" at least for my taste.

That brushed dial that changes color depending on the light, and guilloche small seconds too, just adds so much.

Clous de Paris bezel ! Enjoy it often !

I am so glad to have one in 39mm. In this size there much more to enjoy, and it's not too much bling either.

I also have a feeling that Patek created a winning watch when it made this one, which indeed will remain timeless IMO.

But of course there are not wrong answers, and both are spectacular timepieces. Huge congratulations!!!

I am now tempted to save up for the RG.

The RG was the one that initially appealed to me, but time has begun to favor the WG. It's beautiful! Congratulations!

By just looking at pics, I decided that the RG was "the one". Then when I was lucky enough to compare them side by side in person, the WG just had such a powerful appeal to me. That was surprising. I am very happy with this one.

And then, a long with the see-through back, perfect size, and uncommon but beatufiul color dial, it's a great one.,

I went for the RG variant… either way you could not go wrong. I noticed you went for the deployment clasp… I have been toying with the idea of adding this. How does it feel with the clasp? ...  

The deployment clasp wears very comfortable and feels secure enough with a tight snap. I can put on the watch easily. It's a little dainty in terms of weight and thickness, but ample enough for a dress watch. I love the look of the Calatrava Cross logo on... 

I am reading comments and many others too think that this 6119 will be a "new classic". It's amazing and feels very comfortable on the wrist, and I plan to wear it in good health for sure.

And enjoy in good health! A strap change will make it look new each time! ...  

It looks amazing. I’m very impressed with the new calatrava range. I have the 5226G which is very different. Perhaps I need both!!

In the end, I decided to go for something more dressy like the 6119G to add variety to my collection. And yes, good idea. We always need both! Ha!

It is a superb watch and a future classic for PP.

I've mentioned too, but I agree that this one is already becoming a classic.

.....especially with a more casual strap it's so much fun to wear! ...
