Thank you for posting your WTs! You have two beautiful watches and I certainly would keep the P on a bracelet if i owned one, which I don’t.

The green strap on your 5231 is absolutely perfect. If I had that exact green strap, I probably would not have changed to blue. Best, Patekova

Nu blu shooz - green was great but blue, especially with a yellow stitch does it for me.

One might say blue on both 5131J and 5231J is a bit redundant, but with the different case styles, coloring and quality of the maps, placements of “Patek Philippe” and variations in blue strap colors, I am happy to be a bit repetitive. Would be great to s...

I do think it looks great -- given the many colors and nuances of these dials, lots of straps turn out to be an excellent match (like your previous one, in fact ;-)

This is my favorite (and only) WT version so far, the 5131/1P, which frankly I never considered changing to a strap given the peculiar platinum bracelet, hence a no brainer for me here ;-) Enjoy. ...

Platinum is well ,,,PLATINUM! The P looks spectacular and IMHO deserves to be kept on the bracelet. Even more intriguing is your

rare handicrafts watch. Can you tell me a bit about it? Is it enamel or wood marquetry? Reference? Limited Edition? Thank you for posting your 2 beautiful watches! Best, Patekova

Thanks, this is 5089G-020, one of the limited editions for the 2014 anniversary, that I received in 2015. It has a wood marquetry dial, that's just a pleasure to look at in person...

...here's a few pictures that I have of this reference (even though my photographic skills hardly do it justice! ;-) Cheers. ...

Thank you for your explanation and the wonderful photographs of your extraordinarily beautiful watch!

Yes, I must agree that your images do not do it justice. I certainly don’t mean to cause offense - I say this because I truly believe not even images taken by the greatest photographer in the World can do a wood marquetry dial watch justice. I have seen a...

Thanks, I’m in total agreement as for the incredible skills that are required to make these dials...so much that only one (!) artist has been authorized by Patek for the last many years..

Hi Patekova, Thanks for the photos and all I can say initially after reading your post is three words ...

WOW, WOW and WOW ! Blue straps are perfect for the summer and for the enamel maps ! As mentioned previously, the map on 5231J is better done in terms of color gradations, details and shore lines, whereas the

The blue straps look great on both Js. Out of those two blue straps, I prefer the one with blue stitching.

Here are mine. While I will surely consider different strap options (in terms of color) for 5231J going forward, 5131/1P will always remain on bracelet. Best, V. ...
