This is why I enjoy this forum. I can enjoy your grail watches from afar and ask silly questions about application pieces. But yes, I can dream of that WG case - YG map combo; Though it might be more realistic just to photo shop it

Don’t personally see a difference in the colours and colour gradations between the G and the R. I see such a difference when discussing the J but then I also love the naivety of it’s cloisonné.
The map on the J is the map I remember seeing on the wall in my elementary school. Very nostalgic and hence my preference :)

Definitely the 5131G for me
for the same reasons you mentioned. I need snow on the map and the 5131R's dial was less attractive in my opinion.
