Great food, service and location but my guests and I thought at the time some of the staff a little too attentive while we dined. Expensive of course. Also eaten at his former restaurant, now Brasserie Blanc in Walton Street, Oxford. My claim to infamy- s... 

Yes the staff were very attentive but I wouldn’t say overly so. Maybe they have calmed it down a bit. Just explained the dishes and made sure the wine was flowing. I would definitely go again but perhaps in a year with no watch purchases 😜. M.

For me, the salmon presented on blue plate/strap is more tasty though ! 😃

That Salmon is very limited….definitely the dishes are the side orders and the main course is the Salmon!! 😉

Looks as if you had a superb “spread” and your post has reminded me I must go back.

I’m told it has changed a fair bit in the last 5 years. I tried to have a quick tally up with 2 sittings a day. It is a surprisingly large turnover. Great business. M.

And yes I think I got the pairing for the day spot on. Which makes a change for me. M.

I would like to go more often but a sumptuous meal like that requires an overnight stay or two which makes an astronomical weekend Looks like you had a wonderful time..

And yes an overnight stay would have been ideal but as you say I’d have to sell a kidney or watch 😜. I’m sure it has change a lot in 20 years so you should defiantly go back. M.
