Which one do you like better, left or right?

I am more inclined to the right which looks like a bigger brother 😄 ...

personally i'll choose PC for the dial symmetry !

in general the 5990 & 5712 are my preferred steel versions - yeah i don't like date windows breaking the symmetry of any beautiful dial ... yes there are exceptions like the Lange 1 or PP 5960 Best, mahesh.,

Definitely the left! :-)

I love slimmer watches and when trying the 5726, I felt it was too bulky. One of the selling points and characteristic of the Nautilus is that it is a wearable slim sports watch. The 5711, the 5712 and the 5740 epitomises this but the 5990 and 5726 do not...

Left for me.

Both for the classical dial layout and for the slim case. Best, Daniel

Right

The right one is less cluttered

Agree totally.

Right one is Less cluttered, which I typically I prefer. Less is more. Both are beautiful Cheers Drew

Movement and case: left. Dial layout and colour: right.

I think the feeling when looking at your watch is the most important thing, so i take the 5726.

Tough question, I doubt have a clear answer: it depends 😊

Two stunning pieces!

Great comparison. For me, I'll say the PC ...

 By: destrodan : November 3rd, 2019-06:20
... it's a perfect design with the sub-dials, the thickness, etc. And the heritage of the movement and dial layout is what kept Patek on top.(e.g. the 3940) Patek's annual calendars in this layout are hard for me to fully accept as the 24 hour dial is 'ea...

Both amazing ! But right !

The PC dial looks too busy, love the 5726 layout and color way more.

5726"A"

This is NOT to insult anyone with a precious metal version because the most important evaluator of a watch is the owner, but for me ... I think a Nautilus should be in Steel.

huge congrats on getting both ! Love both very much and I prefer...

the 5740 due to its heft and thin movement. What about you ?

Blue is blue and that's left.....the 5726 was the least

 By: Patekphilippecollector : November 3rd, 2019-08:31
Liked reference until a blue dial and now its fan favourite

Left

 By: Brandon Skinner : November 3rd, 2019-12:32
Though while we are at it, I think I'd take a 5712 aesthetically

5740G all the way.

PC Movement, slim and blue. 👍

Thanks for all of your wonderful feedback and comments.......

Must have to agree that each watch has its own merits. I tried to summarize as below (plus my own thoughts) and there are surely no clear answers as to which one is better. I think Patek does that on purpose catering to different types of collectors which...

My2 cents.

The slimmer profile of the PC is always preferable but for me, the AC layout is way cleaner and more appealing to the eyes. In fact I think the AC actually is less disruptive to the overall theme of the dial. I own a 3940R. On that dial the layout is not ...

5740G of course....

 By: runie(1) : November 4th, 2019-08:22
.... I like the bright blue dial of the 5740....

VERY SIMPLE DECISION

Both are "best of class".... Equally desirable, classic, and superlative Nautilus examples. (my personal opinion) Steve

Right

I got to say despite left is a perpetual calendar, i think thr 5726 is more easily readable and ease of use.

We are a fickle bunch. The 5726 was probably the least loved

Of the nautilus range and was produced in the lowest numbers. It's always been easy to read, had the same and was thick....but suddenly we put a grey blue and it becomes an overnight sensation
