Patek Service Advice

Hi,
I'm hoping some of you more knowledgeable the I am could share some feedback.
It's time for my 6 year old Nautilus 5711 1A to go in for it's first service. This will go to Patek NYC via my local AD.
My question is concerning case polishing. The watch has at least 4,000 - 5,000 hours of wrist time and shows the wear to be expected from that much careful use. No dings or deep scratches.
Would you opt to have it polished?
Thanks,
Steve

Great experience with NY

I had a great experience with the Stern Service Center in NY. Only you have to be very patient, I took 11 months for a Nautilus to be serviced, even so, everything was great.
Don’t polish the watch!

I have had very good experience with Henri Stern Watch Agency in New York. They stand behind their work ( though it does take forever).

Polishing is a personal preference. There's not a single watch I own that sits around in a vault all the time. Therefore, ... some of more "Frequent Wears" get beat-up! If it's an "Everyday-type" of watch that's suffered a number of years of wear I usuall...
