But a 1/1 is beyond exclusive. It is Elite. I could feel the stress building as I read your post. YIKES! OH NO! Missing a 1/1 from Patek? As I read I was hoping the outcome would be a a favorable one. Glad it turned out that way. Phew! It's good that your intelligent wife decided to check where you never thought of checking. Of course, you did have the intelligence to marry her.

Never read something like this. Thank God and/or to a higher „watch power“ you didn’t loose it. Wear it in even more good health. And be grateful. Obviously your Patek clings to you. Your relationship started a second life. Best, Thomas

The simplest way explanation is usually right.
In this case, it was probably left where you say and, in the moving and boxing up process, was accidentally knocked over. It could have happened with a swatch, Rolex or PP. I have no idea why this is somehow tied to PP?
The more commont watches were packed normally.
Somehow my Patek looked like garbage in the cheap plastic box. At least that’s what the packing guys thought. Best Kari

but could it be that they were actually honest hard working people? it is always too easy to judge a book by its cover, I am the worst person in that respect. I hope the move goes well and you will have more time to enjoy the watch again.

I was simply time pressed when picking up the watch. Patek offered to send one of their eatchmakers to Helsinki with new straps to make the change. They don’t like butcheted to touch the watch. That’s what I call SERVICE! Best Kari
