I need more room too.  My clothes don't like sharing space with the boxes and other watch paraphernalia in my closet.

Wouldnt it be great if the boxes we received were actually useful or do other also suffer from this. I envisage a nice box with perhaps a nice travel case as an insert and maybe a ring / cufflink tray or even a slot for pens. If this could double up as a ...

All those boxes just take up too much space for too little utility. I will say that Breitling does come in a smaller box with the insert doubling as a nice travel case for the watch. Some Blancpains and Panerai Subs come in Pelican-style waterproof travel...

be small and elegant just big enough to house the watch. The older boxes were much better. Materials used did not hold up on boxes from the 80s and 90s.

Before they started with these wooden cigar boxes. They used to have fantastic leather boxes, hand made and swiss made... very light, and quality was amazing...now the wooden boxes are not useful, heavy and impossible to store.
