It looks very large though, because if I compare it to my 5109 (obviously an evolution of your 5009), the small seconds dial is much more centered, as it cuts off part of the 6 index (for comparison: )

I assume it is the same 215PS movement inside

This classy and classic gondola as your first Patek piece is a good choice. Enjoy it often ! IMO The applied numerals makes this watch comes alive !

love it! I'm that rare person that thinks the Gondolo line is the most handsome PP watches out there. Love the case shapes and dial designs.

Congrats on that one! I recently bought my 'grail watch' from them as well, and found the service to be excellent as well. THanks for sharing and enjoy

What a stunning Patek and companion...

Congratulations to you as well. I wanted a rectangular watch in gold β€” as opposed to another circular dial β€” with discreet charm.

The PP Gondolos from this era fit the bill β€” with a great price point to boot.

Mission accomplished for you then. A good choice.

In case you are interested in the back story to the Gondolo, and in its Brazilian legacy rather than that of the watch maker, I'm slowly assembling tidbits here: . Best regards.
