Thanks for this nice post, HA, and for highlighting one of the great but less obvious achievements of this unique brand -- its (and its leadership's) unwavering commitment to the preservations of the rare/forgotten arts.

Rare handcrafts to me complement watches very well because watches originated as a type of handcraft. Fortunate that Patek had the foresight to continue with these rare handcrafts and to preserve their existence.
