Lume on a non-sporty Patek

I don't think the 5056P fits the standard definition of a sporty watch, but it does have lume.  This 16 year old glows nicely...

It looks like the crosspiece on the X and right side of the V are missing lume - not because it has fallen out or decayed, but those pieces didn't have a lume fill to begin with, as can be seen with this "normal" shot smile

Sorry for the crappy shots but I'm just not used to seeing a PP like this, yet! ...

The watch has a lot of character.

but they indeed look very good Jester. I didn't know the 5960 A was also a smart watch equipped with LEDs. I like this version and happy to see one from time to time. Thanks for posting. Cheers, Mark

wonderful lume pics. I am so close to putting this at the top of my list but water resistance concerns me. Would anyone here comfortably shower or have a bath in a tub or backyard pool wearing this? Reason I ask is I find it hard to get a watch with this ...

I have taken showers with mine...

But haven't been in pool with it yet. So far so good, knock on wood! :-)

what worries me the most i suppose is that the crown guard is not holding tight, but suppose it should be unless it is pulled out given the watch is marked water resistant to 30m. Would be curious to know whether it leaks water should the crown guard be i...

Hi Jester.

Thank you for sharing the beautiful 5960. I have seen many pictures of the 5960 in magazines, forum and websites. Never like this. Your picture makes me wanna stap on my Patek for the week ahead. Certainly not a common pic showing the lume of Pateks. And ...

The lume shots were taken under UV lights w/ different settings hence it might have looked blue or even purple. In real life, under normal lightings, it's green, like all other luminova material used.
