Interesting you mentioned “vulnerable” .. I am actually in the market of acquiring one for myself. From your ownership experience, can I daily a 5004 I mean including a the occasional splash of water from hand wash and running in light rain?

I said "venerable" rather than "vulnerable"
But I imagine it is a bit fragile with so many moving parts. It is not that old, but a bit, and feels somehow like an older design to me. I would not wear it exposed in rain or cooking. I have washed my hands wearing it will no ill effects so far.
