It is a bit outside the beaten paths but full of charme.

Truly Gerard, if i was going for my first Patek Philippe watch, i go the beaten path with a three hander. I would start with a regulator in the affordable class mechanical watches. Look if it enjoy me, and than go for a regulator from a luxury watch brand...

Collectively I think the whole industry is moving closer to maturity as even Patek now experiments with colorful and textured straps for their off the shelf collection
