Like it a lot. Underrated PP. I went for a 5200 and like it a lot as well - a bit more ergonomic for my wrist. [nt]

Patek Philippe 5100G.

One of the few modern Patek which are a true object of obsession for me. An unusual case, a movement dedicated to this reference with a power reserve of ten days, and a captivating dial. Credit picture: Phillips. A killer. Best, Nicolas ...

Like it too

Rare and reasonable priced. I tried it once - its not really an elegant piece on the wrist...even if i must say that the Gondolo is Pateks most attractive line.

I guess it is just technically a gondolo in terms of reference, beeing a 50s and not a 30s piece

They had some to try on when I was at the factory in 2005

I guess the didn’t “sell like hot cakes” but I liked it on my wrist. But this one I liked better ...

Very nice indeed.

I find myself attracted to the rg with grey dial. Very unusual shape, so would love to try it on the wrist to see how it fits.

My favourite 5100 due to the blue dial

Thank you for posting Nico. Still undervalued in today's market considering only 450 were made.

Yes!!! Thanks, Ed. [nt]

I remember this, I almost bought the yellow gold version.

At that time, I considered the price a bit steep, I regretted not buying it.

I adore this 5100 so much

Maybe someday

Same dream here. [nt]

The shaped movement is fantastic...

my small ‘beef’ is having ‘low’ on the power reserve indicator on the right side. Think of a speedometer, higher is to the right, lower to the left. If I were rich enough to do a custom piece I would fix it : )

I see! [nt]

Not my favorite Patek (the Gondolo in general) but certainly a ‘gentleman’ piece👍

Here’s my only Gondolo (a less rare 5124G) for which we ordered a new strap to make it less boring😀 ...

For me, iconic. [nt]

Oh yes, I remember this one so well...

You know my love for that one too Nico... I had the chance to enjoy one at the occasion of a lunch with a friend who was having the full set. I mean the REAL FULL SET ! I mean not only b&p but the four of them !!! Arrrgh I remember that lunch as if it was...

I was obviously more lucky than you 😜

But no chance to see his G version as it was still unsealed in the bank vault, he wears only the P version, a stunning piece also 👍

What he told me. [nt]

This is an amazing piece.

I saw it on the wrist of a friend and it has a great “personality.” Strong presence, yet quirky. I’m looking to add this to my collection at some point.

Not the same case nor dial...
