Greetings to all! I haven't posted for quite a while, but continue to keep track of the happenings on this great site. I thought I'd use some holiday free time to share my two aquisitions for 2012. I have to admit I'm getting somewhat fatigued by the ince...

Very nice.

Wow. A Calatrava without date has an impressive simplicity and beauty.

Love the shape of the PP logo, on the crown of the vintage. 2 beauties, indeed. Best, and Happy NY. Nicolas

You have picked up my 2 favourites Calatravas. I love the rounded crown guard of the 5127, very similar to the one of the 5125. Also the rose gold is for sure a good choice (although I also love the platinum version with black dial as a very elegant dress...

Superb Calatravas!

I appreciate the kind words. To address some questions/comments: The vintage watch is a in yellow gold from 1958. Of course, the main attractions of the 2526 are that it contains Patek's first automatic winding movement (caliber 12-600AT) and, perhaps ev...

Of course you are right Steve...

...the 5127 does not exist in Pt but only WG (in addition ot RG and YG of course). Yes indeed I was talking about the 5107 which is has a similar case with rounded crown guards but a flat bezel (probably not easy to keep unscratched) which does exist in 4...

Simple & sophisticated.

Hard to beat :-) Oliver

Question ....

 By: tic-toc : January 3rd, 2013-05:01
just to say, nice watches. Question : is your patek 2526 with a factory replace dial or is it an original enamel dial ? sorry, just couldn't tell from the pictures, so I'm merely asking. Happy 2013

Original enamel dial...

But I agree, it doesn't come across very well in the pictures! Steve

love the 5127

has more style to me than the older reference. I have the 5127G.

incomparable....

 By: CL : January 8th, 2013-15:28
2526 is such an icon and classic, 5127 is no where near the Calatrava King in term of style and charm :-) If one is to compare these two watches, I think there's totally zero comparison. Both are beautiful but they are no where near the same class imho. F...

Really lovely

I recently let go of a 3919J myself (for a PC) but I appreciate its simplicity and elegance. It was my first PP!
